ASC Awards 2009 - ANTHONY DOD MANTLE RECEIVES TOP HONOR

Anthony Dod Mantle, BSC wins ASC Best Cinematography Award in the feature film category for 'Slumdog Millionaire' at the 23rd annual American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Outstanding Achievement Awards on February 15 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Century City.

Nelson Cragg won in the episodic TV category for "For Gedda" an outstanding episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,". David Stockton won the award the in the category of TV movie/miniseries/pilot for the pilot of "Eleventh Hour."

The ASC Board of Governors Award was given to "The Dark Knight" director-writer-producer Christopher Nolan for his contributions to the art of filmmaking. Jack Green was the recipient of the ASC Lifetime Achievement Award, and the ASC International Achievement Award was handed out to Donald McAlpine. Robert "Bobby" Liu earned the ASC Career Achievement Award in TV, and the Presidents Award was presented to Isidore Mankofsky.
